YOUR JOB

As a (Junior) buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services and will play an active role in the procurement process and its smooth execution. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers. In time, you may also be involved in projects within supply chain planning, warehousing and logistics.

You will work with international clients in locations such as Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels or elsewhere in Flanders. Always within a reasonable distance from home, as work-life balance is a priority.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Science or in a similar economic field.
  • You have at least a first experience as a Purchaser, Buyer, Procurement Officer, Category buyer, …
  • Excellent language skills in Dutch and English.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) and Excel. 
  • You live in the region of Antwerp or Ghent Or Brussels, and are willing to travel within your own region.

Screening by telephone

As soon as we receive your CV – via LinkedIn, at a job fair or via our site – we’ll get started with your application. We’ll give you a call and get to know each other during a brief but to-the-point conversation of about a half an hour. Are we on the same wavelength? Then we can arrange a date and time for you to come in to meet us face-to-face.

Come meet us

During our first meeting, you’ll get to know a little more about our way of working. And we’d like to hear what you have to say, too. Not to talk about the weather, we’ve probably already done that to break the ice. But rather to hear about your competencies, language skills, motivation, salary and availability. You can go over your technical skills with the loyalty manager. And then you’ll have the chance to let everything sink in a little.
