YOUR JOB

Are you someone who brings structure to complex purchasing administration, maintains oversight of suppliers and procurement flows? Then the role of Procurement Consultant at United Supply Chain is the perfect fit for you!

We are looking for colleagues who switch seamlessly between projects and sectors, from logistics services, FMCG, Pharma, and more. You bring expertise and market insight to diverse organizations as a buyer.

  • From the first order to the final delivery, you keep a firm grip on the entire process, with an eye for price, quality, and lead time.
  • You closely monitor orders and supplier performance, and act immediately when something threatens to go wrong.
  • In consultation with production, planning, logistics, and quality, you ensure that the procurement policy is perfectly aligned with operational reality.
  • Through structured use of ERP systems, you guarantee that procurement data is always up to date and reliable.

You work with international clients in locations including (or for example) the centre of Antwerp/Brussels, Zaventem, Mechelen, the port of Antwerp or elsewhere in Flanders or Brussels. Always within a manageable distance from home, because work-life balance comes first.

YOUR SKILLS

Must-haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Science or in a similar economic field.
  • A relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain. 
  • Excellent language skills in Dutch and English.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) and Excel.
  • Living in the region of Antwerp and willing to travel within Flanders.

Nice-to-haves

  • A proactive mindset: you’re hands-on, ask critical questions and anticipate what is needed.
  • French is a plus!
  • You’re flexible and attentive to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

As soon as we receive your CV – via LinkedIn, at a job fair or via our site – we’ll get started with your application. We’ll give you a call and get to know each other during a brief but to-the-point conversation of about a half an hour. Are we on the same wavelength? Then we can arrange a date and time for you to come in to meet us face-to-face.

During our first meeting, you’ll get to know a little more about our way of working. And we’d like to hear what you have to say, too. Not to talk about the weather, we’ve probably already done that to break the ice. But rather to hear about your competencies, language skills, motivation, salary and availability. You can go over your technical skills with the loyalty manager. And then you’ll have the chance to let everything sink in a little.
