YOUR JOB

Would you like to gain a deeper understanding and broaden your knowledge of supply chain, procurement or logistics, whilst continuing to develop within a stable family business? If so, the role of Supply Chain Consultant is the perfect fit for you!

At United Supply Chain, you’ll be offered a permanent contract and the chance to work on a variety of projects at leading companies. You’ll gain experience across different sectors (FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food, etc.) and, thanks to our personal approach and coaching, we’ll help you develop further and build your career in a targeted way.

As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will work across various departments at our client’s site and become an active member of their logistics teams. You may find yourself working on projects.

You will be working with international clients in Ghent, Bornem, Sint-Niklaas, Beveren, Aalst or elsewhere in the region. Always within a reasonable distance from home, as work-life balance is our top priority.

YOUR SKILLS

Must-haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Science or in a similar economic field.
  • A relevant experience in Supply Chain or Logistics. 
  • Excellent language skills in Dutch and English.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) and Excel.
  • Living in the region of East-Flanders and willing to travel within Flanders.

Nice-to-haves

  • A proactive mindset: you’re hands-on, ask critical questions and anticipate what is needed.
  • French is a plus!
  • You’re flexible and attentive to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

As soon as we receive your CV – via LinkedIn, at a job fair or via our site – we’ll get started with your application. We’ll give you a call and get to know each other during a brief but to-the-point conversation of about a half an hour. Are we on the same wavelength? Then we can arrange a date and time for you to come in to meet us face-to-face.

Come meet us

During our first meeting, you’ll get to know a little more about our way of working. And we’d like to hear what you have to say, too. Not to talk about the weather, we’ve probably already done that to break the ice. But rather to hear about your competencies, language skills, motivation, salary and availability. You can go over your technical skills with the loyalty manager. And then you’ll have the chance to let everything sink in a little.

Are we all in agreement that we’ve found a match? Then we’ll call you with the good news. Any further questions? This is the time to ask them.
